Wedding Arch. 2018

Designed for my sister’s wedding. The structure is built from the frames of my grandfather’s old truck shelter that were screwed together to make this arch. The vegetation and flowers were collected from around the site. The evolution of the pattern of flowers came about naturally by dealing with the geometry of the arch and contemplating the union of two souls in marriage. Furthermore, it became evident after the arch was completed that there had been a distillation of the essence of the place where this wedding took place by the selection and composition of native plants.
